I kn0w all history of all my cars and considered an extended family mechanic. This product had been handed to me by one of the automotive club members and close friends to try since I am a believer of all classic approach to the maintenance: religious oil changes at the proper interval. I have a hauling 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 truck in my shop that is starting to have a faint but very distinct rod knock and at 360000 miles it kind of close to expecting issues like that. As you could image, this truck is on the road a lot! So if it does not work, it would be definitely the best rig to try it on. So I picked up mail and applied as directed, the whole tube into a warmed up vehicle. Then I started a car, and it sounds just like it sounded before, no changes right away. Still tick-tick-tick-ing at me as before. I left it idling and returned back not in 15 minutes but forgot about it, and it idled for almost an hour. To my genuine surprise, the engine sounded much quieter!!! I took it for a spin and it is noticeably driving better! So for about a week of daily driving the mileage was slowly climbing up to where it was when the car was new. I think for total immersion they should be selling it with a new car smell :-) Now about a year after this car still running at 380000 and get comments from anyone who works for us and drives it on "nanotechnology" sticker. So, since then I have used it in every car we have with various results. Newest one being 2013 Subaru Outback where it reduced significantly but not eliminated oil consumption. We added it to our shop compressor oil (half of the ml mixed with oil), and it reduced pumping time from empty to full pressure by about 15%. But the fascinating thing was to use it in my AR-15. I put a dab on about 20 bullets and shot manually i can tell that accuracy increased and barrel warms up less.
I am a driver with 50 years on the road and rebuild my first car engine with my dad when I was 14. Retired military veteran. I tried many additives and not received long-term satisfaction. Pledged early on Kickstarter because of DOD funding those guys got. Little thumb size syringe arrived in the mail in a crafty plain box. It did wonders to our V6 Camry with 310000 miles and two timing belts replaced. The car was in our family for a long time and our daughter got through college in it. After injection, it took about 3 minutes to notice that motor started to become quieter and after about a week of driving it turned into smooth running ant torque picked back up just like we first drove it off the lot! This stuff is the only one that gave such a strong effect on an old car. Returned and got treatment for a semi. Big syringe arrived with different color stuff. In my Cat engine, my MPG went from mid 5's to low 6's. The engine is much quieter and has way less vibration. Noticed that oil stays clear quite longer and less blowby. Looking forward for rear diff product!
I'm sorry, I really am, but I have observed no noticeable difference in the fuel mileage nor performance of my truck. I followed the instructions to the letter, and gave it a proper chance to take hold. I have since put several tanks of fuel through both without and with a heavy load. I am sorry to say I have noted no change in performance. On the upside, I've also not had any problems either, so, yeah! I was hoping for better results to report.
It certainly shines in applications where substantial wear is present which is older vehicles with more thank 100K miles. So reach out to us to understand is your vehicle just in tip top shape or your performance issues are related to something else.
Put it in my semi truck with 1,000,000+ miles. Immediately noticed a smoother idle & noticeably less engine noise thru the transmission stick at highway cruising speeds. Seems to have a bit more power too. Haven’t checked fuel mileage yet, but am pleased with the results I’ve seen.
Put it in my 97 Dodge Dakota that has 214000 miles on it and was as noisy as a sewing machine. Since I used Tribo Tex it has gotten very quiet and I do believe my mileage is better. I know for sure that my oil pressure is much better at a cruse it is up between 40 and 60 now so I am Very happy with my purchase and will continue to use Tribo Tex. I also added it to my new rebuild 02 Dodge Intrepid that I built to give it more protection as well as my old Murray Riding mower I have everything I own running Tribo Tex so folks when you have a worn engine give it a try I did and I am Glad and Grateful!!
I added both the transmission and engine Tribotex simultaneously.
My HHR has just over 208k miles, with the GM 4T45E automatic transaxle and the 2.4L Ecotec 4cylinder engine.
Neither engine nor transmission was particularly causing me concern. Engine would start right up, decent power, smooth operation. The transmission functioned well, though inconsistent in when it would shift smoothly. Shifts were quick, though a greater tendency to jerk into the next gear. Torque converter lock up could be harsh, especially with more throttle.
I felt it an ideal testbed for the new Tribotex transmission formula. Having already used the engine treatment, on another vehicle.... I knew the results were going to be astounding.
I made myself wait until the 500mile break in period was done, before writing this review.
I'm going to gush about this marvelous invention. I was ready to give a five star review at 200miles. It completely smashed any thought of what my car was going to become, after installing the treatments.
Transmission: huge improvement! Like 90% new. I think if I changed out the solenoids... I'd basically have a new transmission. The shifting is almost entirely smooth and imperceptible, save for the change in engine torque. The torque converter lock up, at any engine speed or throttle input, has became entirely smooth, with very occasional glitches. Even engaging the transmission (going from park to reverse, then reverse to Drive) has absolutely no feel to it. Downshifting is so quick, it's almost like driving a CVT.
And
Engine: worlds of improvement! in terms of start up feel, vibration, power delivery (this engine has never felt particularly powerful, merely adequate. After the treatment, it pulled like I had just added turbo charger... Even with the car loaded with my camping gear) even in day to day driving, the engine is much less strained. I can keep the rpm's around 2k and get up to speed effortlessly. I also noted that it would cool off much quicker, say after coming the top of a hill.
Anyone who is dreading a massive repair bill, check out Tribotex first! I estimate that doing... nothing, save for fluid changes, my transmission and engine have another 150k of life, At least.
Thank you for this amazing product!
I've added TriboTEX to harleys, trucks, cars, boats, lawntractors, farm tractors, kubota rtv,s gearboxes differentials and all I can say is "WOW" absolutely amazing the money I've saved in fuel and oil has more than paid for itself I have many customers who have had the same experience with it as well thank you for such a wonderful product cant wait to order more
I put the Tribo Tech in my 2000 Jimmy it has 162000 miles , I noticed the engine is running quieter as for mileage it's about the same , I've put 200 miles on it since adding it to the oil . We'll see what happens at 500 miles I'll start checking mileage at that point . Nano technology is going to change the way we live for the better .especially in the energy field .This Tribo Tech is at the vanguard of this Nano technology and I believe in what you guys are doing , keep at it and I'm looking to see what you bring to the market next .
I ordered the Transmission and Engine treatment for my son's 97 Accord with 313,000 miles on it. He put it in before he drove back from LA to the Seattle area and said it's never run better. He could tell within 100 miles that the tranny and engine were smoother and the tranny shifted better. We run TriboTex in all our vehicles(4) and love it. Great Job guys!!!!
Before i can only attain 18 MPG, after i used Tribotex i was able to attain 20.5 MPG
I have a 1994 Acura Integra with 223k miles (automatic transmission) that wasn't shifting precisely. Shifting was starting to get loose so I purchased this product around June 2020. Only 100 miles after adding it the transmission feels almost new again with the shifting much tighter, faster and quieter (I will make an after video recording at 500 miles). I am sold. This product is going to greatly reduce the number of transmission replacements once it becomes widely known. Great job. I will treat all of my future cars with 175k miles with this product.
I have a 2002 F-150 5.4 Triton engine. I have 134.000 miles on my truck. My truck developed a knock approximately @ the 80,000 mile mark. I've had my truck in a couple of shops saying the cause of the knock is the cam sensor. My usual shop gave me a engine flush at the tune of 400.00. Did not help. One of his mechanic did some research on line and said that it was a plugged lubrication port. They proceeded to remove passenger side valve cover for another 200.00. Did not help. I asked a friend of mine and he also did some research on line and said Ford did not use cam sensors until 2004. I have purchased Tribo TEX changed my oil and applied the oil additive. I have 1000 miles on the truck since I've added the oil treatment. It seems that at times the truck runs smoother than previously but I still have the knock. I will continue to be positive. Maybe with more miles the truck will run better.
I had some lifter clatter and after 350 miles with tribotex in my oil the clatter quit and I noticed much more horsepower.
What a difference! I added the Original engine treatment about 2k miles before adding the transmission formula. I thought the engine treatment was fantastic and bought more for each of the four cars in our household with similar results in each. (Infinity, Nissan, Honda, and Audi). I used the transmission formula in my daily driver ( Infinity, 126k miles ) and it doubled my results, at least. The transmission treatment was the right - cross in a one-two punch combo that put an end to the lagging performance I didn't know was missing and bring my car back to life. I immediately felt faster and smoother shifting that only got better as it fully settled in. I saw an improvement in miles per gallon with the engine treatment but even more with the transmission formula. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend either product but, used together, Holy Smokes! Thanks, TriboTEX
I have a 1998 Jaguar XJR with over 180,000 miles. It was making a fairly obvious lifter noise, and was losing 1/2 a quart of oil every 2,500 miles. The first thing I notice after using the TriboTex treatment was, within one day of use, the lifter noise had diminished by half. I drove it on a 1,000 mile round trip from San Diego, to the Grand Canyon and back. During the trip I noticed the engine was running smoother, and seemed to have more power. After returning, I noticed there was absolutely no oil consumption, and the car was running like new. I am a true believer in the product.
It would sure be nice if Tribotex would sell the tools needed to install their product in the newer transmissions that do not have a dipstick. You have to pull a plug on the bottom of the transmission to add the Tribotex additive to your transmission, so how do you accomplish this? Please get back to me and let me know.
I asked a question earlier if you could use a second dose if after a period of time it did not correct the shudder, completely. I did not get an answer...
Hold off, it's been a 8 days and my wife's shudder is completely gone. You send all your nay-sayers to me and if you don't believe me, my wife will. You just fixed her baby.
Thank you TriboTEX
2003 Hummer H2 with 113,000 miles. Did not affect performance or mileage in any way after over 1000 miles since application.
I have had a Stihl two stroke weed eater for about four years now and it has performed very well. I'd say the best I have owned over the years. I am religious about using high octane gas and using Stihl oil in the mix. I was a little hesitant to do anything out of the routine that might make it stop working so well. I am not sure about the instructions as written for this application but it is generally what I followed. After running the engine for a few minutes I removed the spark plug and put about a 1/4 of the product in the cylinder. Then I gently pulled the cord a couple times to wipe the cylinder without blowing it out the plug port and stopping on the intake stroke. The reason I did this is I am pretty sure you would not be able to get the engine to spin up with a closed cylinder filled with that much liquid. Too much compression. Anyway put plug back it and started. After a little stutter and smoke it rev'd up. Ran for about 20 min. Repeated two more times using a little more liquid. Then ran for about an hour. Now the motor starts on the first or second pull just like it did brand new. However the real improvement is in performance. We have lots of tough to cut weeds in my area and while the pretreatment eater did a good job it is much improved now. I do not have to rev up to full throttle on anything but the worst growth. No more bogging down it burns right through. Using the same string and head I have always used. Noticeably longer run time on a tank of gas. If I knew this would have been the result I would have set up to document/video etc.. beforehand. I will try it in a few other applications later on.
More power... improved gas mileage and a smoother running engine with over 355k miles and still running strong! Thank you TriboTex!
This is the 2nd rims I've used this stuff and I'm Amazed at the difference in my Motor. When I first seen this I thought it was a Scam but Im here to tell you its NOT.... When it quiets an old 6.5 Diesel it's Amazing stuff..I only wish it was a little easier on my Wallet but You pay for what you get

I used a small-engine dose in my 2015 Kubota BX1500. Had some problems with the drive train and fuel pump (unrelated to engine performance) right after that, which limits the run time since then, but I do feel less vibration and noise. That is a real break when operating that small diesel.
A couple of months of real intense use over the rest of the heavy mowing season will really tell the tale, but the smoother running is very encouraging. I will update in late fall.
I wanted to use the product in a 2 cycle, oil injected, 115 hp outboard motor. I inquired about it's use prior to purchase and was assured it would work and was given instructions as to how to apply the product. After the product arrived and before using it, I had occasion to contact TriboTEX about another matter but asked about use of TriboTEX mini in the outboard. The lady with whom I spoke told me she would check and get back to me. Sure enough, within 10 minutes or so she got back to me and told me that Dr. Rudenko said NOT to use the product in a gas/oil mixture engine.
I am in limbo with a product that I cannot use in the manner for which it was purchased. It is too expensive to use in a lawnmower.
Hi Thomas,
I'm sorry that you got confusing messages from our support team. Unfortunately, for your engine, you would need to apply the treatment directly into the cylinders. We are looking at releasing a smaller single cylinder treatment that would be well-suited for your needs. For now, we've refunded your order. Again, I'm sorry that we didn't advise you properly.
Best,
TriboTEX Team
Hello well I put tribotex in my 1994 honda civic with a b18c1 gsr engine at the time the car was dyno at 527hp I notice that the car idle went down and felt smoother so I decided to have it retuned I did change the cams In it with skunk 2 tuner 2s from stock cams and off we went to the dyno. car did really well 813hp @50%duty cycle i been to the track several times drive it there and back street/track car running 10 sec passes going for 9s In. The next two weeks drain the oil several times to check for metal and found nothing oil always looks good and clean only down fall I see is that I use e85 and it thinner then gas and use 30%and it drips down to the oil so I have to chang my oil way before 500 miles so it'll get kind of expensive wish it was a bit cheaper so I'm not in it for gas mileage but more in it for the internal protection of the car and its seems to be doing a great job I do have 3 other cars I would like to try it for gas mileage at some point. (How about a sponsorship guys) or at least make it more affordable for us racers to use it every oil change or every other oil chang. Ty
